photo challenges 21 June

My entry for Hammad’s weekend skies. This is not a black and white. But it was taken on an overcast and rainy morning.

Cee’s FOTD and Jez’s Macro Monday

Here is my entry for Marsha’s WQWWC (Writer’s Quotes Wednesday) #29. Heat.

From the heat comes new growth. This is true for our fijnbosch plants. The seeds stay in the soil for years untill a veldfire passes and then it sprouts again.

Here is my entry for City Sonnet’s, June Colors and Letters Challenge with the topic of chestnut. thorntree in front of the school building. And the exotic flower of a succulent.

  1. Hi TJLE, what an interesting post. The redwoods in the Sequoia National Park are like that too. It takes fire to make them sprout and they are very resistant to fire. Your flower pictures are amazing. The beautiful orange colors and the purple and white one are like nothing I’ve ever seen. 🙂 Just fabulous. Thanks for joining in #WQWWC. I
