FOTD 16 December 2020 : pin cushion

This is my contribution to Cee’s FOTD challenge.

This is a pincushion, part of the famous and indigenous fynbosch plantlife in South Africa. It grows in the southern part of the country. It is so called because it looks like pins stuck in a cushion. It is part of the leucospermum family. Colours vary from red to orange and yellow.
